Our politicians are failing us.
As the seas rise they cower. As the ice melts they sit idly by. As forests burn and storms surge, they mingle with billionaires and pretend that everything’s fine.
From climate to abortion to voting rights, they refuse to act boldly for fear it will be too ‘polarizing.’
We need sweeping climate legislation that meets the urgency of the moment. This summer may be our last chance to get it. It’s time to go all out. It’s the bottom of the ninth.

On July 28th, we will converge en masse on the Congressional Baseball Game. And we will shut it down.
We will not stand by, watching them play games while the world burns. Everything we love is at stake. Our safety, our future, our one and only home. It’s time to leave everything on the field.
6 PM. Nationals Park.

Next: If we don’t have strong climate action by August 5, we will hold actions in multiple states across the country in protest of this failure. Our politicians need to understand– if they fail to seize this moment and address the climate crisis, they will lose our lives and our votes.

September 30th is our last stand. On this day, Congress is scheduled to leave Washington for an extended recess that lasts through the November election. If no major climate legislation has passed by this date, we will organize a highly disruptive, mass direct action that fundamentally disrupts business-as-usual in DC.
